There are more than 100 zip line tours in Costa Rica - about 6 are within 20 miles of LaFinca. Many require reservations and fixed departure times. Allow us to make your reservations. We know which canopy tours are suitable for younger kids. We know which tours have the safest equipment: well trained bilingual guides, double cables, safety brakes, best types of pulleys, plus maintenance of cables are but a few of the criteria.
REMEMBER, The better known canopy tours mean large groups standing while waiting your turn on the ziplines. The total tour takes up to 5 hours, of which you are moving on the zip lines for about 5 minutes total. For this reason we often recommend private departures for your group only.

Fortuna Area
Operator: EcoGlide. With the Tarzan Swing, double cables, good braking system, rescue plan if you get stopped mid cable. Most professional in the Arenal area. 13 cables, 15platforms. ADVANTAGE: Has Tarzan Swing. DISADVANTAGE: Group sizes are large, so standing waiting your turn is often long.

CHOOSE YOUR START TIME - about 45 minutes from LaFinca: arrive at the tour for departures 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM or 3:00 PM.
Rio Sarapiquí, near Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí,
Normally about 1 hour's drive east of LaFinca. 9 cables, 17 platforms. Excellent guides, equipment (brakes, double cables, rescue systems). Last cable crosses the Sarapiquí River. DISADVANTAGE: No Tarzan Swing. ADVANTAGE: Small groups to join, and reasonable cost for private tour.

- For a really complete day, run the Canopy Tour in the morning then the White Water Rafting in the afternoon
