Tubing - River Fun and Nature Escape

Anyone who can swim can have fun on a tube.

As with all our adventures, your LaFinca guide goes along to find the way back home.

ABOUT THE EQUIPMENT: The inner tubes have handles that make it easy to stay upright. There's no rules on how to sit -- like a chair or like a couch. The water level is shallow enough to stand up almost everywhere. Helmets and life jackets are mandatory for all ages.

ABOUT YOUR GUIDE: Your LaFinca guide is bilingual and has completed advanced first aid training. The guide carries a cell phone for emergencies and a complete first aid kit (knock on wood: we have not needed to use it ---- yet). However, your guide will not assume responsibility for deciding the skill level of you or your children... that is your responsibility, so SPEAK UP if you think it's too difficult or would result in your child being afraid.

All participants must read and sign the RELEASE before we can start a trip with you.

Half Day River Float

There's the adventure of getting to the river =-= with the 1972 Land Rover Beelzebub. The roof rack carries the inner tubes, and you are off! for the wilderness. We won't run into tourists on this river - occasionally a fisherman casting for tonight's dinner. Everyone will increase confidence as you go along. Stop any time for pictures, eat a light snack, or simply play in the river. Approximately 4 hours total.

• Per tube, one person $90, MINIMUM 2 guests.
• Solo tuber, $130

CHOOSE YOUR START TIME: arrive by 8 and we leave by 8:30 for the river, or arrive by 1:00 and we'll leave by 1:30 for the river.
